As the FBI special investigation continues to metastasize into a full-blown witch hunt, congressional members have met the limit of their patience.
On Friday the House Freedom Caucus took to the floor to formally call for the resignation of independent prosecutor Robert Mueller.
Among the charges against Mueller was the fact that Congress has continued to have its questions met with a stone wall from former Obama administration officials.
That coupled with the lack of investigation into Hillary’s Uranium One scandal had Rep. Matt Gaetz warning of a ‘coup d’etat’ if Mueller doesn’t step down.
Despite the incompetence at the FBI, it’s not likely Mueller will go anywhere until he’s successfully put at least one person behind bars.

Members of the House Freedom Caucus on Wednesday took to the House floor to shed light on the conflicts of interest in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian collusion and to call on him to resign.
Congressman Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) led the effort and was joined by Representatives Mark Meadows, Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, Trent Franks, Louie Gohmert, Scott Perry, Ted Yoho, and Jody Hice.
Topics covered during the special order included Robert Mueller, James Comey, Uranium One, Fusion GPS, the Steele dossier, Hillary Clinton, and the Clinton Foundation. Mueller’s investigation is based in part on Fusion GPS’s Steele dossier, aka the “dodgy dossier.”
In his opening remarks, Rep. Biggs said, “Congress has sought answers from the previous administration for many years. Without exception, the Obama administration stonewalled these attempts.”
