Feinstein Lies about AR-15s

In an op-ed published by the gun grabbers at TIME, Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Chris Murphy (D-CT) wrote, “Guns like the AR-15 aren’t used for hunting, and they’re not viable for home protection. They have only one purpose, and that’s to fire as many rounds as possible, as quickly as possible.” Feinstein followed up with a tweet that 60 percent of Americans support banning them, but a recent study by the National Shooting Sports Foundation confirms that “guns like the AR-15” ARE used for hunting by more than one in four hunters. As for home protection, in March 2018, at least eight separate instances involved an AR-15 being used effectively for home or business defense. In short: Feinstein lied. What’s new?

Here’s more from The Daily Wire…

On Monday, Sens. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Chris Murphy (D-CT) published an anti-gun op-ed in TIME in which they argued, “Guns like the AR-15 aren’t used for hunting and they’re not viable for home protection. They have only one purpose, and that’s to fire as many rounds as possible, as quickly as possible.”

Feinstein reiterated the statement on Twitter, writing, “Guns like the AR-15 aren’t used for hunting and they’re not viable for home protection. They have only one purpose: fire as many rounds as possible, as quickly as possible. 60% of Americans support outlawing these weapons.”
