Dems Reject Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Campaign Cash

Politicians love campaign cash, but the Left is increasingly rejecting-even refunding-donations from anti-Semite Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN), which may be a very bad indication of her long-term political prospects. According to a Washington Free Beacon report, Representative Lucy McBath (D-GA) refused to report a $2,000 contribution from Omar because they decided to reject it; separately, Representative Dan McCready (D-NC) also returned a $2,000 donation to Omar, with a spokesman telling a local reporter, “Dan believes there is no place for divisiveness in politics, and he didn’t feel it was appropriate to accept the donation.” If this becomes a trend, the strident AOC caucus of the Democratic Party may vanish before it ever really gets going, which is too bad. We were starting to enjoy watching Pelosi squirm.

The Washington Free Beacon reported on Wednesday that the reelection campaign for Rep. Lucy McBath (D-GA) left a $2,000 contribution from Omar off its quarterly fundraising report, and, when pressed by the Free Beacon, admitted that they left the money off the report because they decided to reject it.

“McBath’s rejection of the donation is more important than it may sound,” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. “The Sixth District has a significant Jewish population – particularly in Sandy Springs and east Cobb County.”
