Booker: “More Regulation Over Toy Guns Than Real Ones”

Democratic 2020 presidential contender Cory Booker (NJ) just got called out by major Left wing-friendly media outlets for claiming that toy guns are more regulated than real ones. The Washington Post called the claims by Booker “misleading,” while PolitiFact softened the blow to “mostly false.” Booker, of course, is taking advantage of the Left’s anti-gun useful idiots in his self-serving promotion of 14 new gun controls, up to and including mandatory federal buy-back programs. “Mandatory” being nearly equivalent to gun confiscation in direct violation of the Second Amendment.

Democrat presidential hopeful Cory Booker is drawing heat over his claim that “there is more regulation over toy guns that real ones.”

The Washington Post calls the statement “misleading,” PolitiFact ruled it “mostly false,” and NJ.com simply responded, “No.”

Booker actually made the statement in a May 6 post in Medium, but has since pinned it to the top of his Twitter account, making it one of the first things people see when visiting his Twitter page.

His central gun control plan contains 14 separate controls, gun licensing, TSA PreCheck-style interviews for would-be gun purchasers, universal background checks, and “assault weapons” bans among them.
