An FBI intelligence analyst told House investigative committees last week that it was a known practice for bureau officials to leak information to the press…and then use the resulting articles to OBTAIN SURVEILLANCE WARRANTS. Jonathan Moffa – who worked with notorious former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page – offer testimony arguing that we should be especially concerned with the Yahoo! News’ Michael Isikoff article published Sept. 23, 2016. This story, which failed to corroborate the Steele dossier, was based on information leaked by Steele only to then be used in the successful FISA application. Can you say ‘fabrication’?

An FBI intelligence analyst admitted to House committees last week that bureau officials were known to leak information to the press and then use the resulting articles to help obtain surveillance warrants, according to a source with knowledge of his testimony.
Jonathan Moffa, who worked with controversial former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, testified last Friday behind closed doors before the House Judiciary Committee and House Oversight Committee.
The source with knowledge of his statements confirmed to Fox News that Moffa said FBI personnel would use media reports based on information they leaked to justify applications for Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants.
The source told Fox News that Moffa acknowledged this “had been a practice in the past.”
Republicans have long questioned to what extent leaked information, related to the unverified anti-Trump dossier, was used as a basis for surveillance warrants against former Trump adviser Carter Page in 2016 — when the bureau was led by James Comey and deputy Andrew McCabe.
Gone are the days of the free and fair Internet. Even apolitical algorithms are a thing of the past. According to a new report, nearly 100% of Google search results for news related to President Donald Trump are from liberal media outlets, save for Fox News. Any other conservative sites are relegated to the second page, while CNN receives the most love, followed by The Washington Post, NBC, and CNBC. And it’s not simply because the left media have spilled more ink in slanted stories on the president; conservative sources have spent as much energy refuting them. In case there’s any question, the fifth estate now includes the web.

Every conservative who’s ever searched a politically-charged topic on Google has inevitably noticed that left-wing outlets seem to dominate the results. Other than Fox News, not many right-leaning news sites seem to make the cut, especially not on the first page of results. But is that a function of the popularity of left-leaning media outlets over their right-leaning counterparts, or is it political bias built into Google’s algorithm?
PJ Media’s Paula Bolyard’s recent study on the issue of Google bias suggests it’s the latter. Bolyard found that of the first 100 results provided by Google for “Trump news,” nearly all were from left-leaning outlets.
Bolyard notes that “Google has maintained that all outlets are treated fairly, but nevertheless, conservative sites have reported reduced search traffic and, in the case of Google-owned YouTube, content creators have been banned and demonetized.” The suspicion that left-wing bias pervades the company was only heightened by the famous firing of conservative James Damore.
Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who has stumped on her solidarity with cab drivers – blaming Uber for a cabbie’s suicide – has found herself in hot water reserved for hypocrites. Instead of supporting cabbies and their control of the city’s public car transportation, her campaign has spent $4,000 on Uber and other private transportation. This is typical of the Uber-left (pun intended). Rules are only meant to apply to ‘the other guys’. This is a chapter straight out of Hillary’s campaign rulebook. No surprise.

New York Socialist Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez once blamed ride-sharing giant Uber for leading a yellow cab driver to suicide. Her campaign then took $4,000 worth of Uber rides.
But Ocasio-Cortez, who rose to prominence after defeating top Democrat Joe Crowley in the party’s U.S. House primary in June, is no fan of Uber, if you read her statements on social media.
She frequently criticized the ride-hailing company for what she sees as underpaying its drivers, decrying their pay as “exploitation” if they don’t get at least $15 an hour, the so-called living wage.
She directly blamed the company for the suicide death of Doug Schifter, a driver in his 60s, who killed himself with a shotgun amid financial difficulties caused by flooding the streets of New York with alternative and cheaper options of taxis, as detailed in a lengthy Facebook post.
“NYC’s fourth driver suicide. Yellow cab drivers are in financial ruin due to the unregulated expansion of Uber. What was a living wage job now pays under minimum,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote.
Famed former Cleveland Browns running back Jim Brown, 82, has thrown his support behind President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign. He made the announcement during an appearance on “The JT The Brick Show” on Fox Sports Radio. “Now, that would make me very unpopular in the black community, very unpopular with a lot of Americans … but I think that there are certain good things that are coming out of this presidency because we’ve never seen anything like it,” Brown said. This is certainly bad news for Democrats, who need every reason possible to assail Trump ahead of November.

President Trump is threatening to force his Justice Department to hand over documents Republicans have sought for months about its investigation into his campaign.
Trump has said for months that he didn’t want to get involved. But in a Fox News interview that aired Thursday, he said he may have to step in.
“At the right time, I think I’m going to have to do the documents,” he said when asked if he would use his power to force the department to act.
“I didn’t want to, but I think I’m going to have to. There’s such corruption,” he added.
Republicans have been pressing the Justice Department for documents that detail the decisions it made about investigations into Trump’s campaign, as well as Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
Republicans in recent weeks have said a top official in the department, Bruce Ohr, was in contact with Christopher Steele, who wrote the disputed “Trump dossier” that was used to justify surveillance on a former Trump campaign adviser.
In a desperate bid to prevent Trump from stacking the Court against reinterpretation of the U.S. Constitution for years to come, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is calling for the Senate Judiciary Committee to postpone hearings for Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation. Why? Because in the words of Schumer: “The president, identified as an unidentified co-conspirator of a federal crime, an accusation made not by a political enemy but by the closest of his own confidants, is on the verge of making a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court, a court that may some day soon determine the extent of the president’s legal jeopardy.” Translation: we need to stop a conservative nominee, and, look, there’s a squirrel!

The Senate’s top Democrat on Wednesday called for the Senate Judiciary Committee to postpone its consideration of Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court, citing the bombshell guilty plea from Michael Cohen, President Trump’s longtime personal attorney.
“The president, identified as an unidentified co-conspirator of a federal crime, an accusation made not by a political enemy but by the closest of his own confidants, is on the verge of making a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court, a court that may some day soon determine the extent of the president’s legal jeopardy,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said on the Senate floor. “In my view, the Senate Judiciary Committee should immediately pause the consideration of the Kavanaugh nomination.”
Kavanaugh is expected to appear before the Judiciary Committee for his confirmation hearing Sept. 4, when members’ will question Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court nominee over four days.
Behold the monsters the left hath created. David Hogg, the one and only darling of the mainstream media and the gun control crowd, has forgotten the memo on age discrimination to declare that “old” Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) needs to “move the f**k off the plate and let us take control.” Per the NYMag interview, Hogg is also full of himself and owns it. “Hogg, in fact, was frequently not on the bus but traveling separately in a black SUV accompanied by bodyguards. If he were a politician, one of the staffers told me, the intensity of interest in him would merit 24-hour Secret Service surveillance.” Of course, George Soros and his pals are bankrolling this lunacy (not that we disagree with his opinion of Pelosi). Sidenote: Hogg plans to run for Congress at age 25.

Activist David Hogg talks of his generation of gun controllers in a NYMag cover story, then thinks of Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and says, “Move the f**k off the plate and let us take control.”
NYMag indicates Hogg is wearied by the “old” Democrats who keep hanging onto their offices. He mentioned Pelosi in particular, and said pointedly, “Nancy Pelosi is old.”
Hogg often employs the word “narcissistic” to describe himself. He and fellow student gun control activists just wrapped up their summer bus tour, which focused on registering new gun control voters and pressuring Congress to pass more gun laws. While many students rode on the bus, NYMag explained that Hogg often rode separate: “Hogg, in fact, was frequently not on the bus but traveling separately in a black SUV accompanied by bodyguards.
Center for Medical Progress (CMP) founder and investigative journalist David Daleiden is fighting a gag order blocking the release of more than a dozen undercover videos further exposing Planned Parenthood’s black market butchery and profit of aborted baby body parts. According to Daleiden, the footage “includes some of the most damning and incriminating footage we ever recorded.” If this isn’t abuse of judicial power, we’re not sure what qualifies. But then again leftist have never been bothered much by the prospect of suspending First Amendment protections when it suits their agenda. Let’s hope for victory in appeals.

Center for Medical Progress (CMP) founder and investigative journalist David Daleiden is trying to lift a gag order prohibiting him from releasing at least a dozen undercover videos which allegedly further expose Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers’ unsavory and possibly illegal organ-harvesting operation.
Daleiden told the media that his attorneys are filing motions to lift a gag order so he can release the videos, which he says “includes some of the most damning and incriminating footage we ever recorded.”
CMP began releasing disturbing undercover footage of the abortion industry leader in 2015, showing Planned Parenthood officials openly haggling over the prices of body parts of aborted babies and nonchalantly discussing their gruesome procurement methods.
They know not what they do. Do they? Because Ferguson activists – whose cause celebre was protesting white-cop-on-black-criminal violence – have transitioned to reciting Commie pledges to “defend” Roe v. Wade, ironically responsible for the murder of millions of black babies. Thus, leftist activist Brittany Packnett appeared on the panel to oppose the SCOTUS nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh as part of the “Rise Up for Roe Tour,” saying It is our duty to win!” “This is the most important part,” she continued. “We have nothing to lose but our chains.” See Marx’s 1848 Manifesto: “Let the ruling classes tremble at a Communistic revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains.” Birds of a feather.
Here’s more from Breitbart…
Leftist activist Brittany Packnett appeared on a pro-abortion panel with Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) Wednesday to oppose the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanuagh to the Supreme Court.
After Gillibrand left, Packnett urged attendees to their feet to take an oath directly derived from Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto. “It is our duty to fight for our freedom!” Packnett asked the crowd at the at the Washington, DC, leg of the “Rise Up for Roe Tour,” to repeat after her, claiming this oath was one she had led “every night in Ferguson.”
“It is our duty to win!” she continued. “We must love and support one another!”
She then stopped the chant to emphasize the last line of the pledge. “This is the most important part,” she said. “We have nothing to lose but our chains.” The phrase derives from Marx’s 1848 Manifesto, which famously concludes, “Let the ruling classes tremble at a Communistic revolution.
California’s Unsafe Handgun Act was just upheld by the 9th Circuit Court, which comes as no surprise, considering the ludicrous nature of this barely covert gun ban attempt. In a nutshell, the Unsafe Handgun Act requires that new guns MUST 1) have an indicator showing whether or not a round is loaded in the chamber, 2) have a magazine detachment mechanism preventing the gun from firing without a magazine, and 3) have a microscopic stamping mechanism to imprint the handgun’s make, model, and serial number onto each fired shell casing.” Per the majority opinion, “…no handguns were available in the United States that met the microstamping requirements.” Of course not. Such mandates, by design, would cost so much that manufacturers across the nation would be instantly out of business, but isn’t that the left’s goal after all?

In recent months there were some flickering signs of hope for the Ninth Circuit. Shocking everyone, panels for the Ninth issued rulings in two cases which threatened to recognize Supreme Court precedent in Second Amendment cases.
The first was when they knocked back California’s ban on large-capacity magazines. Another panel followed that up by supporting the right to open carry in Hawaii. But I suppose they didn’t want you feeling too comfortable because this week they returned to more familiar territory.
As David French noted earlier this week at National Review, the Ninth has jumped back into the crazy gun-banning business by upholding restrictions on the sale of various types of firearms which are nothing short of a slowly growing prohibition on many of the most common weapons. And the bans are cleverly written so they don’t appear to be actual bans at first glance.
Oregon GOP gubernatorial candidate and state representative Dr. Knute Buehler is making waves lambasting Democratic contenders Oregon Senate President Peter Courtney and House Speaker Tina Kotek for their roles in ignoring sexual harassment complaints against lawmakers. “For too long, casual attitudes and unprofessional behavior has been accepted and tolerated in the Capitol,” Buehler blasted. “This troubling culture knows no party affiliation and exists whether you’re an elected official, lobbyist or student intern.” The grand irony here is that the left-inspired “me-too” movement, which has destroyed the reputations and careers of dozens of celebrities and politicians in the last year, threatens to devour its own in several blue states.

Oregon Senate President Peter Courtney and House Speaker Tina Kotek aren’t going anywhere, at least of their own volition. Both Democrats have rejected GOP gubernatorial candidate Dr. Knute Buehler’s demand they resign because of allegations the legislative leaders have been ignoring sexual harassment complaints involving lawmakers.
“For too long, casual attitudes and unprofessional behavior has been accepted and tolerated in the Capitol,” Buehler, who is an Oregon state representative, said in a statement. “This troubling culture knows no party affiliation and exists whether you’re an elected official, lobbyist or student intern.”
A February report showed a long pattern of sexual misconduct in the Oregon Legislature that ramped up in intensity during the 2017 legislative session. Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian accused Courtney and Kotek of ignoring reports of sexual harassment.
